God Sees The Sparrow
Her heart was kind and tender
So when she saw the sparrow fall,
She rushed to gently pick it up
She had made a judgement call,
She couldn't just let it lay there
For she knew that it would die,
She had to find someone to help it
Oh why did she have to cry,
She wrapped it softly in a towel
And began to make some calls,
She remembered what her mother said
God sees every sparrow when he falls,
She called the Wildlife Preservation
They took the little sparrow in,
They promised he would be just fine
She gave a sigh of relief and grinned,
She thought of all the many times
Her mother had often told her,
The very words she took to heart
The words that would somehow mold her,
She said that God sees every sparrow
And he watched out for the tiny bird,
So who are you and I to doubt
God said, 'You called and I heard',
It was then that she realized
The way God took care of them,
Was by planting seeds of kindness
For we do it in the name of him.
